Inter Legends FC Raise £2,042 in Charity Football Match with James Anthony Foundation
On 21st February 2025, Inter Legends FC took to the pitch once again, this time for a charity football match in support of the James Anthony Foundation. With a fantastic turnout and an electric atmosphere, the match was more than just football—it was about coming together to make a difference.
A Legends Football Match for a Great Cause
Inter Legends FC, known for bringing together ex-professional footballers and celebrities for special events, faced off in an exciting fixture that entertained fans while raising much-needed funds. The event, held at Maidstone United, saw legends of the game roll back the years, showcasing their skills and passion in front of a lively crowd.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships, we raised an incredible £2,042 for the James Anthony Foundation. This charity does outstanding work in supporting individuals and families affected by life-changing illnesses, and we’re proud to have played our part in helping their mission.
A Night to Remember
The match had everything you’d expect from a legends football match—skill, passion, nostalgia, and plenty of goals! Fans got the chance to see some of their favourite former pros in action, proving that class is permanent.
Beyond the action on the pitch, the evening was filled with camaraderie, with players and supporters uniting for a common cause. From pre-match meet-and-greets to post-match celebrations, the spirit of football and charity shone through.
